Jeans

Paul Smith Jeans Spring Summer 2007 is inspired by draftsmen and carpenters of the rural shores of Britain, and their application to their craft to boat building. Shirting is washed to reflect the harshness of coastal elements; work shirts in worn out chambray, washed organic printed shirts and patchwork shirts give a repaired look. Details are inspired by boating hardware; outerwear features mooring and sailing ropes, bright orange binding grace the inside of jackets, zigzag sailing stitch work. Prints include club crests, boat plans and lighthouses. Denim remains dark with attention to detail on stitching and threading, when washed the jeans give an interesting authentic vintage finish.
