Paul Smith Jeans takes its inspiration from the noble age of the Explorer.
Clothing is based on old photographs of explorers who wore traditional British clothing of the era and made adjustments according to the environment and challenges they faced.

Details include; hemp rope fastenings, weathered wooden toggles, colourful tent guide ropes made into hang loops and leather drawstring stoppers.

Duffle coats, double pocketed officer’s shirts and cinched back explorer trousers with mismatched pockets sit alongside a large selection of cold weather outerwear; classic down jackets, parkas, expedition trench coats and old fashion explorer smocks.

Washed wools and nylons, buffalo checks and old cotton sheeting give a weathered look with speckled yarns and chunky knits providing a perfect winter warmer.

Prints reflect the theme with rare mountain flowers, old botanical sketches, tents pegs and images of far flung corners of the earth.
