Paul Smith Pre Collection Spring Summer 2011

This season’s collection is an evocative floral explosion reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix’s eclectic, maverick style. His loud floral shirts, embellished kaftans and vintage, weathered utility wear have influenced a pre-collection of clashing combinations.

Lightweight traditional masculine tailoring is mixed with Spring florals and subtle feminine detailing such as sloppy bows and grosgrain trims. The ‘classic floral’ is printed directly onto wool tailoring.

Silhouettes are laid back whilst retaining feminine proportions.
