And the Winner Is…

Not just a celebration of excellence in film and television, awards season is also a chance to celebrate style.

The awards season is an exciting time for us here at Paul Smith, as we get to see our designs out there in the wild, worn by some of the leading lights in film, television, and music. We’ve always drawn a lot of inspiration from those worlds, and so there’s a pleasing symmetry in seeing that enthusiasm reciprocated. “We’ve been blessed, over the years – right from when I was just starting out – to have a lot of actors, musicians, interesting people who want to wear our clothes,” Paul explains. We’re thankful that this interest in our clothes shows no sign of slowing down, and this awards season has been especially star-studded for us.

Awards frontrunners like Cillian Murphy, Jeffrey Wright, Barry Keoghan and Andrew Scott have been looking resplendent in Paul Smith as they’ve scooped up honours for their tremendous recent performances. But win or lose, looking this good is its own little victory.

Jeffrey Wright in a double-breasted evening suit, attending the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Andrew Scott appeared at the 44th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards in a moss green two-piece.

John Mulaney collects his Emmy in a lilac dinner jacket and satin stripe trousers.

At the Independent Spirit Awards, Glenn Howerton wore a pinstripe double-breasted suit and navy evening shirt.

Barry Keoghan co-hosted an exclusive BAFTA dinner with Paul and British GQ, wearing this powder blue chore jacket and matching trousers.

And finally, Cillian wears another Paul Smith bespoke at the 96th Oscars Nominees Luncheon.
