Wednesday 30th of April saw the UK launch of Simon Doonan's memoir 'Beautiful People' at Paul Smith Albemarle St.
Published by Harper Collins, Beautiful People charts Doonan's colourful and unconventional family life, the road from Reading to the USA and his introduction and rise in the fashion industry.
Currently Simon is Creative Director at Barney's, New York and writes a regular column for The New York Observer.
Look out for the BBC Two comedy series to follow as the rites to the book have been snapped up by Jon Plowman, Head of Comedy at the BBC.
