David Dawson

Paul Smith No.9 Albemarle Street is pleased to present a display of photographs entitled ‘Studio Life’ by David Dawson of the late Lucian Freud at work.

Dawson has been photographing Freud exclusively since the mid-1990s and his daily contact with the painter has provided a compelling insight into the life of this intensely private artist.
Dawson’s photographs of Lucian Freud were exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and are now on show at Paul Smith Furniture and Curiosities shop.
