This September, Paul Smith is delighted to present an exhibition, “Inside Paul Smith – His Art, His Photography, His World”. The show will provide an insight into the curious mind of British designer Paul Smith for the first time in Korea, held at Daelim Contemporary Art Museum.

Daelim Contemporary Art Museum in Seoul, Korea is a photography specialised museum which has shown unique artworks of collectors around the world since it opened in 2002. The display will illustrate how Paul Smith draws inspiration from the many creative arts for his fashion collections.

'Inside Paul Smith' brings together various elements from Paul's well-documented collecting life. The first part of the exhibition will include his personal art collection which dates from his teenage years to the present, including artwork from famous artists such as; Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Banksy and Gio Ponti. The show will also showcase some of Paul’s personal photography taken during his travels across the globe and his day-to-day observations. The final part of the exhibition which includes Paul's ‘Stamped Objects’, are items which have been sent to Paul from an unknown admirer since the early 1990’s.

Inside Paul Smith will be held from 2nd September to 28th November at Daelim Contemporary Art Museum, Seoul. Opening Times 10.00am to 6.00pm, 6 days a week (closed Mondays).
