We are pleased to announce the opening of our flagship shop in Seoul, Korea: featuring three floors of men's and women's clothing, shoes and accessories.
A sweeping stone staircase lined with some of Paul's art collection joins the 3 floors within this startlingly modern building.
On the upper floor are both women’s and men’s shoes and accessories – they are displayed on an amusing combination of wood and brass furniture from the 1950’s and 1960’s with a background of charming blue, taupe and pink stripes following the building organic lines.
On the Ground Floor Women’s wear is displayed in a modern deco interior which sits on an elegant multi-coloured terrazzo floor.
The ornate ironwork on the stair balustrade leads down to the basement which has a 1950’s Italian inspired room alongside an industrial Jeans area and a very sophisticated suits room with traditional oak paneling. These three rooms look out into a small garden with an impressive deconstructive mural.
Overall the shop captures Paul’s wide interest in architectural styles and periods of history, contrasting the startlingly modern with the strength of history.
