Paul Smith Jeans and independent comic publisher, Sturgeon White Moss collaborated to create a limited edition T-shirt and window illustration for the Jeans shops in London and Nottingham, August 2005.

Two hundred limited edition T-shirts featured an illustration created exclusively for Paul Smith Jeans by Sturgeon White Moss artist Barnaby Richards. A comic strip entitled “Art and Agatha” was also created for a special Paul Smith Jeans window display in celebration of this unique collaboration whilst the sixth issue of the comic was sponsored by Paul Smith.

Sturgeon White Moss started in September 2002 by Sylvia Farago as a way for new up and coming comic artists to show their work alongside established artists. It prides itself upon publishing work from all over the world, from Israel to Vancouver and in 2004 it won the Fanzine awards at the Angouleme festival in France, one of the biggest international comic festivals.

Contributors to the magazine include Marcel Dzama, Barnaby Richards, Michael Golan, Jo Ratcliffe, Dave Cooper, Tom Gauld, Killoffer, Jeffrey brown, John Dunning & Nikhil Singh among others.
