On Friday 3rd July, I received a really lovely mad gift for my birthday (which is on the 5th) from Jonathan Ive and Jody who works with him at Apple - a perfect model of an Ipod but as you can see slightly bigger than usual. Jonny knows I like strange things; as the real thing gets smaller, he sends me a giant version!

This looks like it should be in the middle of the countryside but in fact it's in central London. I was there on my birthday with my family.

In today's post I got these two figures from Alvin NG and Jesvin Yeo (visual art designers from Singapore) - I'm so lucky with my postbag - everyday I get great things from around the world. The figures are now sitting in my studio with the rest of the gang. I love them - thanks ALOT guys.

Got to work at 6am because I'm going away on away soon and I have lots of work to do, but at 8am I had a lovely visitor, an old friend of mine for many years, chef Jamie Oliver; the scary thing was I had to make him breakfast - you should have seen me trying to make the coffee, water going everywhere and burning the toast - he ate it but hopefully he wasn't being too polite.

I am very excited about supper tonight as I’ve just received this pasta from Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant in Kingston and don’t you just love the tea towels!
