Paul Smith Men's Shoes - Ibsen Trainer

Overview

Ibsen is a Paul Smith Red Ear Jeans, eight eyelet trainer made with off white textured dip dye leather uppers.

Tan leather patch embossed with Red Ear logo is attached to the tongue. Decorative floral printed insoles are featured, with the embossed soles that are trimmed right to the edge of the uppers; they are made with cemented construction.

Spare cream laces and stow bag are supplied.

Dip-Dye Collection

The uppers of these shoes have been immersed in dyes and tumbled in large wooden drums to dye the upper leather, the lining and the stitching for intense colour.

Shoe Care

Taking care of your new shoes ensures that they last longer. Please read the following guidelines to help care for your shoes.

Leather uppers should be treated regularly, use a good quality cream for a dull lustre or Bees wax polish for a high shine. This helps to moisture the leather and prevents cracking or creasing, always ensure your shoes are dry before applying.
Never use liquid polish applicators on fine leather shoes; it can contain chemicals that destroy natural leather.

Suede and Nubuck should be cleaned gently with a suede brush. Removing stubborn marks will require a suitable product available in any good quality shoe care store.
Please be aware that Suede’s and Nubucks can never be made entirely colourfast and care should be taken on carpets, furnishings etc.
If your shoes become wet allow them to dry naturally, never dry them using direct heat or a radiator.

Natural leather heels and soles are often made up of several layers. Leather will expand when wet and should be dried slowly to avoid separation of these layers.
Leather shoes can require a day to dry out from natural perspiration...avoid wearing your shoes on consecutive days.

Natural latex or rubber soles can sometimes develop a white powdery surface; this can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Using wooden shoe trees will maintain the shape of your shoes and help absorb moisture.

Always use a shoe horn when putting on your shoes; this avoids damage to the heel area.

Delivery

All orders placed before 12pm (GMT) on a business day we aim to ship the same day, providing card security checks are complete, and stock availability is confirmed. Orders placed after 12pm will be shipped the following business day. All deliveries require a signature.

Returns & Exchanges

We will offer a refund or exchange (if stock available) on any unworn/unused goods (faulty or otherwise) within 28 days of dispatch.

We now include a complementary returns label in all orders delivered within the UK. Simply attach to the package, take to the Post Office and obtain proof of postage from Royal Mail.

Like-for-like exchanges or exchanges of a higher monetary value (where additional payment is required) can be processed at a Paul Smith shop (this excludes Paul Smith concessions or third party department stores) at the manager’s discretion; so long as adequate proof of purchase is provided.
