Paul Smith and The Music Exchange

Born and bred in Nottingham, Paul Smith is delighted to be collaborating with The Music Exchange, a thriving record shop based in the heart of the city he grew up in.

Bringing crates of vinyl from their hometown to Covent Garden, on Friday June 21st and Saturday June 22nd The Music Exchange will be 'popping up' in the Paul Smith, Floral Street shop. "The Music Exchange is one of my favourite record stores. I've always been a fan of their work and this is a tremendous opportunity to do something together" says Paul.

Over the course of the two days a well-honed selection of records will be available to buy from the Covent Garden shop, alongside the usual offering of clothing from the Paul Smith men's, women's and junior collections. An exclusive collaborative tee that has been designed to mark the occasion will also be available to purchase for the duration of the event and all those that make purchases from the pop-up will be entered into a draw to win tickets for festivals including Green Man, Latitude and Bestival.

Brian 'Joey' Mutton, manager of The Music Exchange and in-shop DJ for the event explains, "We're very honoured, as a local record shop, that Paul Smith continues to support us and has provided us with some great opportunities. We're really excited by the pop-up shop it's going to be great."

The event and collaborative T-shirt are the first chapters in what's planned to be an ongoing tale between Paul Smith and The Music Exchange. Stay tuned for more information soon and get set to get crate digging!
