Kim Jenkins at Paul Smith 'Globe', London Heathrow

Paul Smith 'Globe' is pleased to announce the forthcoming exhibition of work by London-based artist Kim Jenkins.

Reflecting Kim’s steadfast interest in all things on two wheels, she happily gathers inspiration from many sources for her work; from portraits taken of her favourite cyclists to items collected at bicycle jumbles such as old spanners, periodicals, vintage jerseys and other paraphernalia.
Exploring different mediums, Kim’s prints depict detailed colour illustrations of bicycles, monochrome etchings of cyclists in motion and lino cuts of wheels, spanners and bicycle tools.
Sharing Sir Paul Smith’s love of cycling, and coinciding with the Tour du France, Kim’s exhibition of prints and drawings is a timely and appropriate subject celebrating all aspects of riding bicycles.
Kim Jenkins studied Fine Art Printmaking to MA level at Camberwell College of Art and now runs her own printmaking business, Lucky Bird, in Broadway Market, East London.
A keen cyclist and traveller, Kim combines her interests with extensive cycling trips to the USA and Europe.
