Focus | Autumn/Winter 13: Denim

Designing denim for decades, from dyes to washes to cuts, fit and finishes, there is very little Paul Smith does not know about jeans.

Paul Smith began designing jeans in 1992. It all started from Paul's interest in workwear, particularly in selvage and Japanese denim after his years of visiting and studying the approach there.

From the top down, in the autumn/winter 13 Paul Smith Jeans collection there's denim to dress your every inch. The light wash denim shirt has vintage appeal whilst the ultimate jean jacket comes in a special edition selvedge piece from the Red Ear collection.

All Paul Smith washes are hand-finished and denim is picked for its weight, handle and colour. Slim fit jeans in indigo and black give your look a smarter edge, whilst a more causal feel can be created by coordinating tops and bottoms, double denim if you dare!
